Empty Present (Catharsis I)

Empty Present

(Catharsis I)

You said you loved - a promise -

but never was it filled

nor true

'Loved,' and left

Me, hanging by my last heart string

All but plucked to bring you back

And now the mirror has

turned about, and

Out of your timely silence now

Gathers sorrow in the stale air

Blankets

of sorrow

and regret.

I wish to right all wrongs between,

but I cannot compensate, nor lie.

Please know,

To Avenge was not my final wish,

but Catharsis.
